Entrepreneurial Leadership and Entrepreneurial Success: The Mediating Role of Entrepreneurial Opportunity Recognition and Innovation Capability

Micro-, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) play a crucial role in the economic growth of emerging markets. This study examines effect entrepreneurial leadership (EL) on success (ES) MSMEs Malaysia through mediating opportunity recognition (EOR) innovation capability (IC). To examine proposed mediation model, we utilized structured questionnaire to collect data for this quantitative research. Partial least square-structural equation modeling (SEM) was used test hypothesis sample 401 micro-business owners/managers Malaysia. The findings reveal that an EL has significant positive ES but is conditional EOR IC. However, results show IC partially mediate link between ES.
